I am delighted to announce the formation of the IEB (Independant Examination Board). This is the board that governs examination within our academies, from normal academy gradings to panel grades, to dance exams and judging. Also it will oversee any CIT course exams and competitions etc to make sure everything is judged in a fair, impartial way. Mr Heywood is the director of the IEB, with Mr Glasheen being principal examiner, and Miss Kinsella running the Dance. We also have room for expansion throughout the UK as we are now working with over 300 students across the country.
The Dojo Dragons programme is something really special designed to introduce young children aged from 3 to 6 to the fun and lessons that come from martial arts. Our
goal is to nurture these young people in a safe environment and allow their characters and abilities to develop.
We believe that it is only proper to teach such young children in their own dedicated class without the distractions of older children. We want to give them the best
possible martial arts education, support and care. We also believe that the early years are the most important and if you get them to understand the right values at this age you will set them up for
life.
We teach the children how to develop respect and confidence, learn how to avoid strangers, martial arts moves, how to avoid dangerous situations and how to defeat a
bully without fighting.
Parents of the children in our Dojo Dragons classes tell us what great changes we make to the lives of these children. To find out why contact us and come and see a Dojo
Dragons class in action and talk parents about what their children get from the classes.
All of our confidence-building exercises help to develop hand-eye coordination and motor skills. Through our philosophy of positive reinforcement, and the interaction
with instructors and children, your child will develop the security and confidence to accept separation from you, be more focused and attentive, and ready for the upcoming road ahead in
school.
All Instructors are fully CRB checked, aswell as specially trained to teach children of this age group. Classes are 40 minutes long to get the best out of the students,
with attention span and concentration levels of young students still being developed.
